Amazon Hiring For Additional 75,000 Jobs

Amazon, a US-based e-commerce company, has announced that their 100,000 jobs pledge has been filled and new employees are working at sites across the US. Last month, the company had announced to make 100,000 full and part-time hires across its operations network to keep as many people as possible working during the coronavirus pandemic.

The company also reported that it would invest over $350 million globally to increase pay for its teams during this crisis.

Amazon continues to see increased demand as its teams support their communities, and the company is going to continue to hire, creating an additional 75,000 jobs to help serve customers during this unprecedented time.

Amazon also continues to invest in pay increases and previously expected to spend $350 million to increase wages during this unprecedented time, now expect that to be over $500 million.
